Summer Adventure in England 2016

Day 1.

June 27th, 2016

We arrived in London at 7 pm. After securing our rental car, it was already 9:30 pm. Directly from London Heathrow Airport, we set off for our first destination city in England – Bath. By the time we reached our Airbnb in Bath, it was well past midnight. Our accommodation was a charming three-story brownstone townhouse, exuding a cozy ambiance with its large timbered structure and slightly uneven floors.

Janly and the kids stayed up late to prepare a delightful birthday surprise for me, despite their fatigue from the long journey. The surprise was a beautiful celebration with balloons, birthday notes, and amazing gifts. It was an incredible way to kick off our trip ❤️.

The Airbnb is a 40-minute walk from Bath city center. We thoroughly enjoyed our stroll along the picturesque water channel guiding us into the heart of the town. The sight of numerous long boats moored in the channel intrigued me. Perhaps, one day we’ll plan a long boat vacation in the idyllic English countryside.
