A Timeless English Elegance

Day 2 afternoon

June 28, 2016

After our visit to Stonehenge, we explored the nearby Stourhead House, a National Trust property. We had a delightful lunch at the National Trust restaurant, sharing the space with many charming group of elderly couples. It felt like a serene escape, almost like being in a tranquil old-age retreat—quite amusing!

The Stourhead mansion showcased captivating architecture, a true feast for the eyes. The English garden was nothing short of sublime. We devoted our entire afternoon to marveling at the beauty of the landscape and architecture.”
